Kim Williams Timpa is a longtime resident of Rockwall, Texas, and graduate of Rockwall High School. Ms. Timpa has practiced family law for over thirty years; Ms. Timpa earned a business degree from Baylor University, and a juris doctorate degree from Baylor Law School in 1993. Ms. Timpa is deeply rooted in the Rockwall community and is a member of the Rockwall County Bar Association, a board member and member of Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, a life-long member and former trustee of the First United Methodist Church of Rockwall, a member of the Professional Women’s Alliance, a former board member of Rockwall County Helping Hands, a founding member and former board member of the Rockwall Independent School District Education Foundation, a former board member of the Child Advocacy Center, and a former member of the Lone Star Chapter of National Charity League. Kim’s father, the late Jimmy W. Williams, was superintendent of the Rockwall Independent School District, with a tenure spanning more than two decades. The J.W. Williams Middle School in Rockwall was named after Mr. Williams in honor of his many years of devoted service to the community. All of Kim’s children have attended schools in the Rockwall Independent School District and she currently has a daughter attending Rockwall-Heath High School who is also deeply rooted and involved in the community.
Julie Timpa Fecht

Julie Timpa Fecht has practiced family law for over 10 years. Julie graduated Rockwall High School with honors and thereafter graduated from Texas Tech University with honors in May, 2000, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. After graduating from Texas Tech University she went on to graduate cum laude from South Texas College of Law earning her juris doctorate degree in May, 2003. While attending South Texas College of Law, Julie achieved the position of assistant editor of the South Texas Law Review. Early in her career, Julie added a certification as a family law mediator to her credentials.
Further, Julie holds a certification from the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas in the area of collaborative family law. In fact, Ms. Fecht is a former President of the Rockwall Collaborative Family Law Alliance Association, an alumni of the Leadership Rockwall Class of 2014, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rockwall. Mrs. Fecht is also a founding member of the Young Professionals of Rockwall, and served as its initial Chair. Julie and her family reside in Rockwall.
Katherine Lee Metcalf

A native Texan, Katherine Lee Metcalf grew up in Richardson, Texas, graduating from J.J. Pearce High School. She attended Baylor University where she earned her undergraduate degree and attended and graduated from St. Mary’s University Law School in San Antonio, Texas, earning her juris doctorate. Katherine devotes her law practice solely to family law matters, including, divorce, custody, child support, visitation, modification, post-marital agreements and adoptions. Katherine was the former president of the Rockwall Bar Association in 2008 and 2009.
Further, Katherine devotes her spare time to helping animals. She is a founding member, current board member and officer of a non-profit organization dog rescue group called, “Saving Pyrs in Need, Inc.”
